Celtic Duo Caught up in Covid Chaos; Government Step in, Forfeit Considered

Norway are in limbo over their next international fixture with the national team grounded in the country at the moment.

According to Fotball.no, the team are currently waiting clearance to head to Austria and Romania but Norway director of health has told them to stay out, for now:

“We have asked the squad to remain in Norway until we receive a new assessment. We have Norwegian legislation that we interpret differently.”

Moi and Ajer are caught up in this and were no further forward where they stand in relation to isolating. An international team mate

has tested positive and since then, the tie against Israel was called off and now forfeits might be on the way if the government don’t allow them to fulfil their fixtures.

It’s been a common theme over these international breaks, players come out their bubbles at club level and chaos ensues.

It’s not an ideal time for international football to be played. Although, Scotland will have been glad games went ahead after Thursday.
