When things aren’t going to plan, players who haven’t played become the answer even if they haven’t been tested.

It appears to be the case this season.

Neil Lennon is yet to properly introduce Ismaila Soro into the fold at Celtic and the small portion of what some have seen of the midfielder is enough for them to urge the manager to play him more.

Not that Soro might not be up for the job but right now Celtic are going through an identity crisis on the field and throwing things at the wall to see what will stick seems like reckless way forward.

Some supporters would like to see players like Soro and Turnbull get game time away from the the SPFL to prove their worth where the pressure isn’t as bad. Others would just like to see these guys get game time.

Celtic are about to embark on a trip to France in the Europa League and then a semi-final against Aberdeen on Sunday. Would this be the time to bring on these guys and see what they can do?
