Celtic were in Pot One but their luck couldn’t have been much worse during the Europa draw when they landed every second top club in their respective seeding group.
Milan being the standouts and they were in pot 3. All of Celtic’s Euro opponents are firing on all cylinders with top form going into the competition.
Celtic are looking to use the Europa League as a spring board to get themselves going. Our performances have been slow and predictable this term. Neil Lennon should use the tournament to find the players he can trust.
Milan are favourites for the tie inside an empty Celtic Park. It will take a big performance on the night for Celtic to get anything from the tie.
