The loan deal for Diego Laxalt appears to be pressing ahead but there’s no agreement yet over a future fee for the player.
The bhoys are looking to shore up their wing back position for the season but like many loan deal nowadays, future fees are usually a part of any deal.
In this instance, it appears the Italian club want a fairly large fee for Diego considering they spent around £13m on him not so long ago.
AC Milan want a permanent transfer fee of around £9m, IF an option-to-buy clause is added onto Diego Laxalt’s loan deal with Celtic.
They paid just over £13m to Genoa in 2018.

The agreement on the loan deal shouldn’t be dependant on a future fee but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
The player is currently undergoing a medical in London ahead of a move to Celtic before the window slams shut at 12pm. The Uruguayan international looks set to compete for a place in Neil Lennon’s side going forward. Giving Greg Taylor much needed competition in the process.
