Done Deal: David Turnbull is Finally a Celtic Player

We have reported on this transfer saga for well over a year and it’s with great pleasure today to confirm David Turnbull is now a Celtic player.

On again and off again, the transfer move for the midfielder has hardly been straight forward but we’ve got there in the end.

This will be a glimmer of good news for the support after a horrible night on Wednesday.

Turnbull was all set for his move last season when a medical put end to the move. A knee injury seen the player miss most of last season but he’s come back strong and convinced the club he is ready for the step up.

The midfielder can do a job for Celtic now and could also expedite one or two midfielders moving on.

Given Neil Lennon has called his team out after their Champions League defeat, it might be time to finally put fresh faces onto the park.

David is a registered Celtic player and will be able to play against his old club this Sunday at Celtic Park.
