Celtic are set to complete the signing of a man they’ve been chasing for over a year.
According to SunSport the club will finally make David Turnbull a Celtic player this week over a year after he was pictured sitting in a Celtic shirt next to Neil Lennon, the deal at the time was just over £3m
David’s medical flagged up a knee injury which halted his deal to Celtic and saw him take 10 months out of the game.
Since returning to the field, the player had looked sharp and he appears to have done enough to prove he’s still the player he was 12 months ago.
The report claims Celtic will move swiftly now and make the bhoy a Celtic player by the end of the week. If they did manage to do that, Turnbull would be free to play for Celtic against Motherwell at Parkhead.
There has been no more word on Tom Rogic’s future but if Celtic are bringing in another midfielder it looks like the Australian might be on his way out.
