Latest: Celtic Fan Test Event Could Be Days Away

CELTIC are always leading the way in Scottish football and it appears the bhoys are set to be the first to bring supporters back to the stadium as they seek permission to hold a test event.

The club are in talks with the Scottish Government to hold an event as soon as next Sunday when Celtic take on Motherwell in the SPFL according to Record Sport.

The test event would see around 1000 supporters gain entry to the stadium to pilot how exactly things could be done when more are allowed back in through the doors.

Right now, there’s a go-ahead for some spectators to return from September 14 but even if this does go ahead, Celtic will be at nowhere near capacity. It’s tentative steps in the fight to keep the virus under control and striking the balance in our game.

If Celtic get the go-ahead, some fans will likely be contacted to participate in the trial before the full run out at the Celtic vs Livingston game on September 19.
