It’s the sequel you’ve all been waiting!
According to reports this afternoon, Celtic are stepping up their scouting efforts on Motherwell’s David Turnbull.
The midfielder was in the building last year, signing for Celtic when the unthinkable happened and a deal to bring him to the club collapsed after his medical flagged a knee problem.

It was the start of a very long road for the Scottish midfielder – an operation followed by months and months of rehab. Turnbull managed to make one substitute appearance for ‘Well last season before the shutdown came into play.
Now back and in the first team, Celtic are scouting the player to see if he can still play to a standard which made the club want him in the first place. Celtic know all about David’s qualities but players can lose something after long injuries and they have to be sure they can rely on him.
SunSport claim the player could be brought to Celtic before the window is closed at the start of October, all going well.
