CELTIC have dropped their first two points of the season in a what was a frustrating day at Rugby Park. The bhoys look bereft of ideas as Kilmarnock put on a resolute defensive display.
It was a stunning strike to set Celtic on their way but stupidity from Christopher Jullien gave Killie a way back into the game with a penalty. Burke converted and after that, no intensity or imagination from this Celtic side who looked like they lacked motivation at times.
Kilmarnock striker, Nmbaba, was a constant pain for the defenders and managed to keep the ball high up the park when Kille hit their out ball.
It’s a sore draw for Celtic on the second day of the SPFL and Neil Lennon must now look at his side and how they combat that sort of display and up the intensity.
It wasn’t good enough for a side chasing history – it’s as simple as that.
