We reported yesterday recently released Calvin Miller was on his way to France to sign a deal with Ligue 2 side Le Havre, RecordSport seemingly revealing the 22-year-olds next destination.
However, we have come to learn today Calvin Miller is only in France for a trial with L’Equipe journalist confirming the second division side were having a look at the former Celtic youth product.
Le latéral gauche Calvin Miller va être mis à l’essai par Amiens, qui est en stage au Touquet. Rien de signé pour le moment.

Translated “The left side Calvin Miller will be tested by Amiens, who is in training at Le Touquet. Nothing signed yet.”
Miller never made the breakthrough at Celtic and with his contract coming to an end this summer it was time for both the club and player to part ways.
In the absence of training with a football team, Miller has been really putting the hours in to train hard himself and win his next move.
France would be a great destination for Calvin if he can convince Le Havre he’s worthy of a deal. Getting away from Scottish football would do the player the world of good.
