According to reports, released Celtic player Calvin Miller is on the brink of a move to France.
RecordSport claim the former Celtic youth player is heading to France to pen a deal with Ligue 2 side Amiens.
Calvin was released this summer after coming through the academy. Starting out as a striker, the player was made to adapt to a left back role be Brendan Rodgers during the Irishman’s time at the club.
While playing a handful of games for the first team, Calvin never became a regular and was sent out on loan several times.
The players contract was up at the end of May at which point both Miller and the club parted ways. In the proceeding months, Calvin has been very active on social media, showing his training regimes and making sure he was up to scratch for whatever move was to come.
A move to France is a bit out of left field but we applaud his bravery and determination to carve out his career away from Scotland.
