Celtic in ‘Advanced Talks’ With £2.4m Rated Star

It’s being claimed Celtic are in advanced talks to bring Joe Hart to the club as a replacement for Fraser Forster. If that’s the case, the club aren’t messing around ahead of the ten in a row season.

Joe Hart has had a nightmare in the Premier League since leaving Manchester City, the days of his number one status as England keeper and Manchester City well behind him.

At West Ham and Burnley the goalkeeper struggled but someone at Celtic appears to believe he could come do the business for Celtic.

RecordSport have made the claim about the ongoing talks:

‘David Marshall is now available following Wigan’s plunge into administration – but Celtic have already held advanced talks with Joe Hart.’

As we’ve seen time and time again, the Celtic goalkeeping coach Stephen Woods has propelled keepers to higher than they might have gotten elsewhere. Bringing Craig Gordon in and working with him after a career-threatening injury, working with Fraser Forster during his two runs at the club, there’s no doubt the coach can get the most out of his goalkeepers. Could he get something out of Joe Hart which has been missing?

Right now, Joe is available on a Free but TransferMarkt rate the goalkeeper at £2.4m.
