Celtic fans have been reacting to an interview posted last night by TalkSport.
Craig Gordon spoke to David Tanner about his future and how he was unhappy with the way Celtic had dealt with his contract talks. The player did say there was still more talks scheduled but made it clear there was an offer from Hearts on the table which was very interesting.
Celtic have offered him much reduced terms but at this stage in his career, Craig is seen as a backup and not a first team player.
Supporters have been discussing the interview and whether Craig has shot himself in the foot by going public. He’s technically not a Celtic player so he can’t be reprimanded for talking about negotiations but it has certainly rubbed some the wrong way.
We would be surprised after this interview if the goalkeeper was to re-sign for the club.
