Chris Sutton has taken to social media this morning to give his thoughts on former Celtic player, Jonny Hayes making the move back to Aberdeen.
The Englishman reiterated his surprise at Celtic not keeping their utility player but acknowledged its was a great piece of business for the Dons.
Surprised Celtic didn’t hold on to him but good luck to Johnny Hayes on his return to Aberdeen… always gave his all in a Celtic jersey and never let the team down. Decent business for Aberdeen.

Hayes spent three seasons at Celtic with the final one under Neil Lennon arguably being his most influential.
Hayes admitted himself he was surprised to be let go but he’s not found offers hard to come by since being dropped by his bhoy hood club.
The winger makes his return to Aberdeen where the supporters have absolutely pounded him when he’s visited with Celtic since leaving. I’m sure all will be forgotten when he his back in the red jersey.
For Celtic, it’s all about looking to the future. The bhoys have yet to make any moves this summer. With the transfer window not officially opened, there’s still plenty of time to do business
