Lennon Confirms Covid Tests for Players and Training Timetable

NEIL LENNON has confirmed the club will test all their players on Wednesday ahead of their phased return to training from Thursday next week.

As we reported earlier, Celtic have already bought the equipment to make sure all of their player can be tested on an ongoing basis.

Speaking to CelticTV, the Irishman delivered the news but it will be an anxious wait to see if anybody comes back positive.

“We’ll all get tested on Wednesday and then hopefully return to small groups on Thursday” Neil Lennon told Paul Cuddihy.

“It will be groups of fives, two groups in the morning, two groups at lunch time” Lenny confirmed.

“We’ll get to see them all, we’ve not seen them in a while, you tend to miss them”

Celtic have the chance to make it ten in a row next season and this will be the most bizarre start to a league campaign in perhaps the history of our game.

Fans will have to watch from their sofa’s and players will be constantly monitored for symptoms of the virus.

It’s not ideal but getting the Hoops back in some form or fashion is certainly welcomed.

We hope all the players come through their Wednesday test fine and we can get cracking come Thursday.
