There’s good news and bad news for Celtic fans – ODSONNE EDOUARD has made the top five of Marca’s top young players under 23 in football. However, the same article encourages Edouard to move onto a higher level,
The Celtic striker comes in at number three on the list behind Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes) and Rayan Cherki (Lyon).
This only proves further what a hot commodity Celtic have on their hands but you don’t have to tell Celtic supporters that. Eddy has become a firm fan favourite and is just as good a scorer as he is a provider.
While it’s great to see our man getting well deserved praise outwith Scotland, the information wrote about Eddy for Marca is hardly a great advertisement for hin staying at Celtic.
Marca writes:
“He is not playing in a big league and we need to see him in another championship.
“The Celtic star is fast and skilful. He is a modern forward, because he is more than a striker.
“With the France’s under-21s, he has scored 11 goals in six games. We shouldn’t rule him out for Les Bleus’ senior squad.”
Celtic fans are desperate to hold onto the striker but know if the club receives a ridiculous bid, he could be for the off.
The bhoys are heading into a ten in a row season where history can be made. It remains to be seen if that alone will be enough for some of our top stars to stay put.
You hope Eddy buys into what next season will bring.
