Scottish Football Back Open for Business – August Restart

SCOTTISH FOOTBALL is on course to start next season in schedule at the start of August after the government gave clubs the ok to return to training and lifted a ban on the game.

This, initially, will only apply to Premiership clubs and lower league clubs will have to wait to find out when they can get going again.

Celtic were crowned champions earlier this month and the league positions sorted so they could hit the ground running for next season.

If the SPFL can put a proper plan in pace then we’ll be watching Celtic play football by the first weekend in August. This will be behind closed doors with no real expectations of supporters being allowed inside stadiums any time soon.

Celtic’s quest for ten will at least start with no fans present. We hope as the season progresses we can start to see crowds again.
