The EGM called to vote on an independent inquiry into the SPFL has failed to garner enough support to go ahead.
The vote was 27 against with 13 for and 2 clubs abstaining.
The Ibrox dossier was given to all clubs last week but a 200-page document couldn’t convince the majority that there was any untoward wrongdoing here.
The Rangers have been very vocal about the governance and have tried to move the debate to other things which might even have some merit to it, but the way they went about their business was unacceptable to many.
Resolution for independent investigation into SPFL has failed. 13 clubs voted in favour, 27 against and 2 abstentions.

We now look forward to more statements upon statements in the coming hours while we try to find a way forward for Scottish football.
Celtic should back an inquiry when things have settled down into the governance of our game but given the accusations thrown about by The Rangers, could they land a disrepute charge?
Peter Lawwell spoke at the EGM today and gave an impassioned speech about the state of our game – it appears that a lot have agreed with his sentiments.
