The SPFL summit has been pushed back in order to digest the dossier of evidence against the SPFL from the Ibrox club which is supposed to drop today.
Neil Doncaster and the SPFL board have been asking the Ibrox club for a month to show the evidence of wrongdoing so they can be investigated but it has dragged on.
RecordSport claims the SPFL were ready to pull the trigger on calling off the season but will wait until the information has come out before they make any final decisions.
Celtic have remained silent throughout this whole saga. The club have made their position clear and understand the pitfalls and hardships involved if the season isn’t concluded.
Right now, it’s The Rangers who take centre stage. If their dossier proves emphatically that there needs to be a serious inquiry then that’s what should be done. If it’s suggestion and innuendo then they are going to have egg on their face.
