Celtic Pledge £30k to New York Charities

Celtic have pledged £30k to the fight against coronavirus in New York City which is the devastating epicentre of the outbreak in America.

The funds which will come from the Celtic foundation will be split between a homeless charity and women and children aid in the hard-hit area of America.

The club has raised over £300k in support during this crisis with a lot of that money going to local charities to help the most vulnerable in our society during these very difficult times.

It’s always important to put anything which is happening inside our little football bubble to one side and help others when we can.

The club have an annual Celtic charity event in Manhattan every year with the club having a good relationship with many people in New York City.

We can be very proud of what our club is doing on the charitable front. The Celtic Foundation has been a source of great pride within the support who help raise funds all year round for great causes.
