The potential for Adidas and Celtic to collaborate and make not only Celtic kits but other forms of merchandise is a mouth watering prospect.

The iconic three stripes on the even more iconic hoops will be something quite special – if done correctly.

With the season in shutdown, there hasn’t been much more news on the Adidas front, i.e when we can expect their first Celtic strip to go into production.

It appears it’s in the offing after a Celtic supporter on social media asked the Supporter Liaison Officer, John Paul when we’d likely get to see the new home kit.

This would be later than usual for a new strip dropping, but given the current crisis, it’s understandable.

The club finish their five year deal with New Balance in the summer. The American based bran has been hit and miss with their merchandise and kits.
