The SPFL sent out an open letter to all 42 member clubs on Tuesday warning of the pitfalls of continuing in-fighting and once again they’ve asked The Rangers to to show their evidence.
Celtic received the letter alongside every other club and will be keeping fully aware of all things going on at the moment.
The club have acted well and not rushed into any rash statements. They have kept quiet and let things run their course, remaining dignified throughout.
The Rangers still believe the proposal to end the lower leagues was flawed and they have evidence of wrong doing during the vote. The SPFL are no callously taunting the Ibrox club about handing over evidence – they want to see it for themselves and will investigate any allegation or evidence fully.
There’s an EGM set up for the middle of May to take a vote on a potential independent inquiry into the SPFL proposal. It will all hinge on the evidence The Rangers are currently holding.
