Celtic could be set to recall their stars from around the world if they feel there’s a decent chance football could restart later this summer.
It’s incredible, but only now is the UK Government implementing a two week isolation period if you fly into the UK from next month. It would mean if Celtic players were recalled after it was implemented, they’d be two weeks behind the players already here as cited by SunSport.
It would be a big step to get their players back into the country.
When the shutdown hit, the club afforded their stars the opportunity to go and wait this out at home in their own countries.
We know Tom Rogic is in Australia while Kristoffer Ajer is back in Norway and Nir Bitton alongside Hatem Elhamed is in Israel.
Four first team players who would play a part if football came back.
However, if Celtic are confident that won’t be the case, then they’ll just need to plan ahead and around the two week isolation once their players do return.
