“The Rightful Champions” Says Celtic Star

Ryan Christe was on course for one of the greatest seasons of his career before the shutdown. Last summer when Rangers signed Ryan Kent there was a lot of noise made. But it was another Ryan who stole the show in Scottish football.

The Celtic midfielder was on 17 goals for the season, seven of them came on the European stage. The star has been struggling with boredom and says he took football for granted but can’t wait to get back to it, whenever that may be.

The Scotland international also has no doubts whatsoever who the champions are if it is a case that the remaining games can’t be played when he spoke to the Sun.

“But we would be crowned rightful champions, I think we have been pretty dominant domestically. Everybody would be desperate to play out the final few games.”

“Because of the way we were playing before the break, we were on such a terrific run that we felt really confident. Towards the end of the season there are massive games you won’t be a part of so it’s gutting to miss out on those.”

There are only a handful of people who will disagree with Christie’s opinion on what should happen if winners can not be declared on the park. Some folk seem to forget that Celtic are not just been robbed of winning a ninth consecutive title but also another treble.
