SPFL and English Premier League Set for Crunch Crisis Talks – Reports

Even though the football has stopped, the shut down of the UK wide game is still a quickly moving story.

Clubs, players and fans are in limbo at the moment as nobody quite knows where to turn for answers.

Football might not be able to be played for months, with some going as far as saying August/September time.

SunSport are now reporting the SFA and SPFL will join a crisis meeting alongside their English counterparts on THURSDAY next week to discus how they go forward from here and what are the possible solutions.

Things like titles and relegations could be decided or scrapped altogether if the time frame for a return is too long.

Everyone will be looking after their own self interests during this time when it comes to their position in the league. If there’s anyway we can get football back in some capacity, it would be a huge relief but we appear to be a million miles away from that scenario.
