Celtic are continuing to be linked with players in the lead up to the window closing at midnight tonight.
We heard a whisper earlier today about the club potentially making a move for Newcastle’s Christian Atsu and Sky Sports are now confirming this to be the case.

Celtic are in the market for a winger after Mikey Johnston went out injured on Wednesday.
Moi being out to leaves a hole in the side. Atsu can play either side of a front three and is surplus to requirements at Newcastle.
A six month loan deal has been proposed.
Celtic fans were hoping the club would’ve been more prepared and ready to drive home their advantage with recruitment in January but it’s not been the most exciting window thus far.
Celtic fans know what’s at stake so there is a bit of discontent the board aren’t going all out.
