CHRIS SUTTON was on the BT panel and commentary team on Wednesday night as the bhoys smashed St Johnstone in a first half blitz in the SPFL.
The Scottish Champions came out the traps hot and blew the home side away early on. By the 12th minute, Celtic could have been up 4 or 5 goals.
The second half was a much more quiet affair with St Johnstone digging in and Celtic rejigging the team after an injury to Jozo Simunovic.
Celtic kept their five point lead at the top of the table with Chris Sutton praising the emphatic nature of the win as well as singling out Olivier Ntcham. These are the sorts of games which cand be tricky to negotiate but the champions made light work of their opponents.
Celtic emphatic 3-0 win… Ntcham excellent. Griffiths another goal… another important 3 points⚽️

It’s Hamilton away next for Celtic this Sunday, a different kind of game on an artificial surface. Celtic will be looking for the same kind of result but will they be able to play the type of football we saw in the first half against St Johnstone?
