NEIL LENNON praised Celtic’s first half performance and singles out one man in particular which will be music to the ears of many Celtic fans.
The Celtic manager praised Greg Taylor for his performance and branded the defender ‘outstanding’.
“Greg Taylor was outstanding” Lennon proclaimed in CelticTV.
Lenny also praised Leigh and gave him a bit of stick for not getting two goals in the night.
“Really pleased for Griff, he should have scored a header as well, I just reminded him of that.
“He’s still got a bit to go.”
Celtic kept their five point gap at the top of the table by making light work of St Johnstone. It was a first half blitz and in the second half with the change of personnel and shape, the game just fizzled out in the end.
Celtic did take their foot of the gas but we’re good value for their win.
Hopefully this is the start of a Greg Taylor run in the side. He’s not been seen much since signing from Killie but he deserves his chance and even managed an assist tonight.
