The Bhoys are well and truly on the road, Celtic’s next three games are all away from home. The first of these games comes tonight against St Johnstone.
Celtic moved five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a flattering 3-0 win at home to Ross County at the weekend. Celtic’s second-place challengers slipped the following day but with the Gers still having a game in hand Neil Lennon’s team will need to be fully focused tonight.
The Celtic line up surprised a few people on Saturday when Edouard was benched and Leigh Griffiths was left to lead the line. Luckily Edouard had a small issue and came for the last half hour to turn the game on its head.
Tonight Lennon goes back to his two striker formation and fans will be pleased with a few things tonight. The main one is that Edouard starts, Christie is back on the bench and Greg Taylor fans get to see their man in action.
Celtic fans can’t have too many complaints with this team as there are goals all over the park and the Celtic manager looks adamant that 3-5-2 will play a big part in retaining the league title.
