Neil Lennon’s agent was pictured with former Celtic star Filip Benkovic on social media overnight, sparking new rumours Celtic could be back in for the defender.

However, that’s NOT the case and it was simply a Chance meeting where Celtic fan Martin Reilly got a photo with the big Croatian.

Benkovic got a start last weekend for Leicester in the FA Cup but the player’s future is still up in the air at the moment.

When some supporters seen the picture with Martin Reilly they put two and two together more as wishful thinking.

One Celtic supporter asked if Martin was ‘bringing him home’ to which Reilly replied Not mate’.

It would be a bit odd if Neil Lennon’s agent was trying to conduct transfer business for the club after all.

Celtic announced last night they had let Scott Sinclair go to Preston on a two and a half year deal but as of yet there has been no incomings.
