The Middlesbrough social media team have put together some clips of Patrick Roberts to get their fans excited about their new addition and it’s all Celtic Propaganda!
Given his loan move to Girona last season didn’t go to plan and his 24 minutes of Premier League action for Norwich, it’s little wonder the Teeside club looked to his Hoops career to show what Paddy can do.
Roberts was a sensation in Scotland for the first 18 months but when he came back for his second spell at Celtic, the player’s injuries made sure he didn’t have a big part to play in the double treble season.
He’s an invincible Celt and was a player who genuinely could get fans off their seats with what he could do. It’s a shame he didn’t stick around longer after his second loan spell.
Getting loaned out to Norwich who discarded him and now in the Championship with ‘Boro, we wish him all the best but he could be doing much more exciting things in football.
