Timo Weah Reveals What he Loved About his Time at Celtic

It was May when the player was prompted to leave Lennoxtown before his loan deal was officially up after he told Neil Lennon he would not be sticking around for the cup final – now Timo Weah has answered a question on Instagram about his time at the club.

Timo signed for Lille in a £9m deal back in the summer after his six-month loan deal with Celtic didn’t go to plan. He was brought in by Brendan Rodgers and used by Neil Lennon, however, after a quick impact, he soon fell away from the starting XI.

Timo is a raw talent but someone Celtic didn’t feel was worth the sort of money PSG were looking for. Odsonne Edouard was brought to the club because they were convinced the player was capable of excelling and tripling his transfer fee one day.

As Weah looks on from France now, he might have some regrets from his time at Celtic but he still speaks warmly about his time there.
