Manchester Utd Chase Loyal Celtic Servant

Celtic have a lot of great staff behind the scenes who don’t get the credit they deserve at times.

One man who fits that description is physio Tim Williamson. You may know the name if you play Football Manager and take on the Celtic role. Otherwise you might just know him as the guy with the bag who sorts out Celtic players when they’re injured during a game.

The Glaswegian originally joined Celtic in 2002 fo under Martin O’Neill. Before that he was head physio for Spurs and had a stint at Leeds.

The physio would leave the club in 2007 for a stint at Birmingham before Neil Lennon brought him back up the road in 2010.

Deila and Williamson had their differences and he was demoted during the Norwegian’s spell with Grete Homstoll taking over as injury prevention specialist. Brendan Rodgers reinstated Tim once he took on the role.

Tim has been Celtic’s main man for a long time now but according to MailSport that could all change with Manchester Utd sniffing about the Celtic man.

Neil Lennon will not want to see his main man leave for England. It’s clear the manager and physio have a great rapport. However, a large salary increase could tempt even the most loyal of servants.
