Celtic take on Cluj in match-day two of the Europa league on Thursday night in a match which has a few different layers to it.
It’s all about the three points of course but there’s personal pride at stake for a lot of the bhoys in green who believe they didn’t do themselves justice the last time Cluj came to town.
It could be a high action evening and the game will need strong officials to keep a lid on proceedings.
UEFA have confirmed the appointment of German whistler Daniel Siebert and his team for the game at Celtic Park.
According to Transfermarkt, the official has already taken charge of ten different games this season – handing out 32 yellow cards and one red so far.
With those kind of stats it would appear Daniel Siebert isn’t shy at handing out cards at all and Celtic players must be aware they could go into the book very easily on the night.
