Parkhead Support Rally Round After Celtic Fan Tragically Dies – 18th Minute Applause

CELTIC fans have been asked to deliver a minutes applause in the 18th minute of the Cluj game on Thursday night to remember one of our own.

Liam Hendry, 18, tragically died metres away from Celtic Park on Friday night when he was hit by a van in the early hours of the morning. The paramedics rushed to save him but Liam died at the scene.

The young lad was a big Celtic fan who was no stranger to Celtic Park on match day. Celtic supporters and former players are rallying around on social media to try and make the 18th minute applause happen and we’d like to get that message out to our readers who will be at the game too.

Absolutely tragic news and it would be great if we could give Liam a big applause and a send off on Thursday. Please share this with anyone going to the game.

Liam’s friends have also set up a Go Fund Me for his family.

Rest in Peace Liam, God Bless.
