SCOTT BROWN has sent a message to anyone who has a desire to stop the Celtic juggernaut this season by declaring the bhoys are ready for battle.
Speaking ahead of glad day where Celtic will unfurl the league flag for the eighth consecutive time, the Celtic captain was asked about the competition this year and did not shirk from the task ahead.
Celtic captain Scott Brown believes they’ll hold off any challenge to win 9 in a row… “we’re going to get pushed very very hard again…but we’ve got the players in this squad & the manager that’s got the belief in us as well that we can go & do it”

Celtic are two seasons away from breaking a record set by Jock Stein’s Celtic – this year Neil Lennon and the bhoys can match their domestic achievement of nine in a row.
Old Rangers were the only one to match this and they did so on someone else’s dime.
The league promises to be competitive but Celtic have been billed as a spent force by many in the media who want to see a power shift. You don’t win eight in a row and three consecutive trebles without being able to reinvent and adapt as the years go on.
