CELTIC have been very active in bringing in young players to bolster their developmental ranks this term.
The bhoys let a lot of academy players go this summer who have failed to make the grade and with call ups to the first team for the likes of Mikey Johnston and Karamoko Dembele, there’s room for a new crop of stars to be developed into future first team players.
A lad that has caught the attention of not just Celtic but a host of Premier League club’s is Linfield’s Charlie Allen.
Allen, 15, is already a part of Linfield’s first team and has represented his country at under 17 level.
According to the Scotsman, Celtic have stolen a march on their competitors for the player’s signature by offering Charlie the chance to train at Lennoxtown.
The player can operate as an attacking midfielder or striker and would go straight into Celtic’s developmental side should they land the youngster.
