Sky Sports Fail Trying to Grab Kieran Tierney Headline

SKY SPORTS have been leading the charge when it comes to the Kieran Tierney transfer situation. The media outlet has been relentless in their reporting of the transfer and have thrown so much misinformation everybody’s way.

They reported on the first Arsenal bid and they did so like it was now a foregone conclusion. The narrative was always, poor Celtic will take a few quid from Arsenal and any player in the SPFL would jump at the chance to go plat at Arsenal – neither has happened.

Instead, we have had a summer long saga with Sky Sports trying to find as many people who will support the narrative the deal should and will happen.

Liverpool were in Scotland yesterday to take on Napoli at Murrayfield in a pre-season friendly and after the game, Sky Sports asked his Scotland teammate and fellow Celtic fan Andry Robertson his thoughts on the issue. They were obviously hoping for a headline response but Andy didn’t bite.

“It’s up to him and the people around him, he’ll make the right choice.” Robertson told SkySports.

“He’s a Celtic bhoy through and through, good luck to him whatever he does.”
