While there were some fans who liked yesterday’s unveiling, it is fair to say the majority did not fall in love with New Balances latest effort. The top was leaked long ago, there was plenty of negative feedback then for Celtic to try something else.
It’s not so much the colour but the big pink arrow/stripe running through the front of the jersey. It looks more like something you might find on a horse jockey. Fans have come up with all kinds of ways to slate the top but there are unconfirmed reports that some of the money raised from the top will be going to a cancer charity.
There are rumours that this will be Celtic’s last season with New Balance and even hotter rumours that the Bhoys are due to team up with Addidas next year. That has got a lot of Hoops fans excited.
