CELTIC’S European opponents Nomme Kalju have taken an unusual step ahead of Celtic’s visit next week and slashed the ticket prices for their supporters.
The Estonian champions have had to move the game to the Estonian national stadium as their ground was not fit for purpose for the Euro tie. After the thumping defeat to Celtic, the club have decided to half the price of a ticket for a 48-hour period from £20 to £10 for the locals according to SunSport.
This a last-ditch attempt by the club to put bums in seats for the Scottish Champions coming to town knowing full well the tie is as good as dead.
Kalju will be hoping for a decent crowd and a spirited performance and if they can’t knock Celtic out they will certainly have personal pride in trying to beat the club on the night.
Celtic fans have had to pay £28 for their tickets already and they won’t be getting a reduction – not that they’ll mind.
