One Major Worry From Celtic’s First Half Against Nõmme Kalju

In terms of the actual football, Celtic are in cruise control in their first half against Nõmme Kalju at Celtic Park. The Bhoys are three up after goals from Kris Ajer, Ryan Christie and Super Leigh Griffiths. In truth, the Estonians are lucky to be only down by two goals.

The downside was an injury to their left-back which saw him leaving the field. With just 35 minutes gone Boli M.Bolingoli was replaced by Mikey Johnston after the defender limped off the park after picking up a knock.

Celtic fans are well aware of the hole that will leave in the wing-backs position if his injury is going to be a long term one. With Kieran Tierney out injured and still getting linked with a move away from Paradise the last thing Neil Lennon would have wanted to see tonight is their left-back limping off the pitch.

If tonight’s current goal trend continues and the Bhoys can get one or two more goals in the bank there will be no immediate need to risk Boli next week if his injury is just short-term. All the focus the last few weeks has been on the right-back position and Celtic signed defender El Hamed earlier today who they paraded as a right back.
