Celtic starlet Barry Coffey has posted his pride at helping Ireland’s under 19s into the semifinal of the Euro Championships.

Coffey bagged the winner on the 80th minute against the Czech Republic and booked a place in Wednesday’s semi-final where the Irish will take on current holders Portugal.

Barry is a top talent and doesn’t get spoken enough about because of the likes of Karamoko Dembele and Mikey Johnston coming through the ranks.

The player is currently flying high after his quarter-final exploits and took to social media to celebrate.

The Irish FA will be delighted with the squad in Armenia and will be hoping they can dump Portugal out this week to book their place in the final.

Barry getting experience against some of the top young talent in Europe is invaluable to both the player and Celtic.
