With Celtic not due to play again until Wednesday next week it appears that Scott Brown is using his time off to head for the Open!

The Celtic midfielder used his Instagram account to post a picture of a runway as he gets set to board a flight to Ireland.

The Open Championship in Port Rush and with the Celtic captain being a massive golf fan, it looks like he will be taking in some of the action over the weekend.

Celtic’s next game is against Kalju on Wednesday so the bhoys may have the weekend off before they head back to training on Monday to get ready for the Champions League tie.

The first leg is at home with the return leg in two weeks in Estonia. Having just knocked out the Bosnian Champions, it’s now time to try and knock out the Estonian Champions and move to the third qualifying round of the competition. The third round is where Celtic failed last season under Brendan Rodgers.
