BBC Journalist Makes Kieran Tierney Claim – Deal Structure ‘Complicated’

BBC reporter David Ornstein has provided an update on the Arsenal bid for Kieran Tierney this Sunday afternoon and has pulled up some red flags. The amount of the bid is reported to be £25m but this is our second report today where it has been stated Arsenal are making the deal complex and tiered with the Scottish Champions not getting the full amount up front.

The biggest thing to take from this is the BBC man stating Kieran Tierney wants to go. We find it difficult to believe anyone from Tierney’s camp is talking to anyone about this outwardly at this point.

This can be based on hearsay or assumptions coming from down south under the notion any Celtic player would be happy to move onto the Premier League.

If Arsenal want the player on a structured deal, you would hope Celtic would be cautious about doing so.

Peter Lawwell is a shrewd negotiator and you believe he’ll attempt to get the best deal possible.
