NEIL LENNON has branded West Brom ‘unprofessional’ and their criticism ‘totally unjustified’ as he reacted to the vitriol coming from their Technical Director earlier this week.
Luke Dowling made a very public and personal attack on Neil Lennon for not playing Oli Burke more when he became the Celtic manager. However, the Irishman has hit back at those claims and defended himself very well.
Neil believes it went the other way at times and he treated the player too well. Oli burke got game time under both Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon. His performances under Neil were so below par it was difficult to keep him in the side. He missed an absolute sitter for Celtic to win the game against Livingston and then had a howler at Ibrox.
The Celtic manager was right to defend himself considering WBA didn’t have the courtesy to talk to the club about the situation.
It’s really more to do with Celtic trying to sign Rekeem Harper from the Championship side.
Neil Lennon believes he treated Oliver Burke "too well at times" and described the criticism from West Brom over Celtic’s treatment of the player as "unprofessional and totally unjustified".
