Two former Celtic team-mates have rekindled their friendship during their time off with Patrick Roberts posting a video of himself and former Celtic youth product Liam Henderson enjoying a drink.
Henderson who has just helped his side Verona to the Serie A is enjoying some well earned time off while Patrick Roberts is preparing himself for the Premier League after signing on-loan with Norwich.
Both men are thought of very highly by the Celtic support even after they left the club. Roberts spent two and a half years on-loan at Celtic but cut his ties with the club last summer. A loan move to Spain to play with Girona didn’t work out but the Englishman is now set to fulfil his dream of playing in England’s top flight.
Henderson took a massive risk by leaving for Italy and it could have been over after just six months when Bari went under. However, a move to Verona has ensured his Italian adventure continues and he’ll be playing in the top flight of Italy come August.
