NEIL LENNON is set to be confirmed as the new full time Celtic manager later today, nearly a week after he was offered the job.
The Irishman was given the news minutes after he and his team had won the treble treble after beating Hearts 2-1 and fans were gobsmacked at the timing of the impromptu statement.
Peter Lawwell decided to announce to the world that Celtic would be offering the Irishman the job full time again without having a proper contract or terms in place.
The timing was highly suspect for a Chief Executive who knew a large number of Celtic fans wanted there to be a proper interview process to see who would be the next full time boss.
Neil has been on holiday but is now back in Glasgow and has thrashed out the future with Peter Lawwell according to SunSport. An announcement on the manager accepting terms is likely this afternoon.
From there we might get more of an idea of what Lawwell and Lennon have planned going forward.
