CRISTIAN GAMBOA has said his final farewell to the Celtic fans as he prepares to leave the club.
The Costa Rican international contract is up with Celtic and he’s free to move on this summer.
Signed by Brendan Rodgers to provide Mikael Lustig with competition, Cristian has never really looked like threatening the Swede’s position.
Gifted with pace he could offer Celtic something but it was clear just a few months into his Celtic career where Brendan Rodgers seen the player.
Appearances were sporadic and he would come in for an injured Lustig a few times before being taken back out the side.
Behind the scenes, nobody seems to have a bad word to say about the defender and has always and conducted himself well as a Celtic player.
On his way out the club he sent a classy message to the support and thanked everyone for making his family welcome in Scotland during their time here.
