‘No Words Needed’ – Leigh Griffiths Posts Poignant Trophy Day Message

LEIGH GRIFFITHS has posted a very poignant image of himself holding the SPFL trophy as the Celtic striker made his Parkhead return for the trophy day festivities.

The frontman has been out since last year with personal problems. The club and fans have been very supportive of their century striker as he works his way back to first team football.

Yesterday would have been a great day for Leigh to come back out in front of the Celtic fans and enjoy another SPFL trophy day.

Leigh looks set to return to the squad in pre-season when the bhoys get ready for the Champions League qualifiers.

In his absence, Celtic have only had one recognised striker in Odsonne Edouard with new signing Vakoun Bayo out injured as well.

It will be great to see Leigh back on the pitch when the time comes. He’ll be itching to get among the goals again.
