On a day where Celtic lifted the SPFL title for the eighth consecutive time one of the biggest cheers of the day went to  one of the most unlikely players at the club.

When the team were collecting their medals, the PA announced every single players name and when Commper was announced the Celtic fans got a kick out of actually seeing the player in the flesh!

Compper has only ever played once for Celtic after his move from the Bundesliga.

Marvin will go down as arguably the worst signing of the Rodgers era and was one of the reasons why Lee Congerton’s exit was greeted with excitement.

They scouted him, brought him in for over a million then never used the defender.

At least the Celtic fans can see the funny side of things by greeting the unknown defender with a massive cheer on the day.

Maybe Rodgers will sign him for Leicester.
